Battle Stations 21 is the Navy's unique, high-tech simulator of shipboard emergencies to test Recruits at Recruit Training Command (RTC).  Battle Stations 21 is the culmination of all training received at the Navy’s only boot camp.

It is a grueling 12-hour test in a fully immersive environment that captures a recruit’s skills in several shipboard evolutions, including fighting fires and stopping floods. The event is held entirely aboard the USS Trayer (a life-like mockup of an actual destroyer) and marks the recruit’s final rite of passage into the U.S. Navy.
